Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.
You are not logged in.
I run two hard disk drives ( 500g, 1500g ) by STANDARD configuration.
After I upgraded to the firmware 1.03b70, I still could see both drives without a problem.
But when I reformatted the first drive in order to change its file system type from ext3 to ext2
- I plugged the second drive out while I was doing this - the information about the second
drive seems to be gone.
Now the both drives are plugged in and when the DNS-343 is powered up,
the web interface tries to reformat the second drive which I don't want because it's full of data.
So I installed fun_plug on the first drive and tried to mount the second drive manually from the shell.
I can see both drives from fdisk but the data partition of the second drive ( /dev/sdb2 ) is
not mounted to the directory where it was before. ( /mnt/HD_b2 )
Adding an entry to /etc/mtab was useless because it was recovered after reboot.
From what I read from this forum and else, somehow I guess I need to store the
information to flash memory of DNS-343 instead of the volatile root file system.
How can I do this?
