I had some problems installing fun_plug, and after exhaustively getting nowhere, I posted a thread here, then read the forums, noticed someone mentioned 'the execute bit' and realized that it wasn't set on the script file that I'd downloaded.

So, I thought, I ought to be nice and make a quick-install guide for them Macfolks who might encounter the same problem.

The form of the following should also work as a quick installation from other platforms.
Note that the dollar sign in the code boxes ($) represents your shell command prompt, and should therefore not be copied to the command line

1. Fetch the newest fun_plug and fun_plug.tgz from this site, move them to /Volumes/Volume_1
2. Open Terminal.app (It's in /Applications/Utilities)
3. Go to Volume_1

$ cd /Volumes/Volume_1

4. "Bless"/set the execute bit of the script file

$ chmod +x fun_plug

5. Restart the box (using your browser)
