Hello,
I can confirm that the newest firmware works with xbox360.
1) A reset (little button on device hold for 30 sec.)
2) Then on the webpage (192.168.0.xxx) of the nas choose REFRESH after adding
new content (photo's..video's etc. added with computer) at the Upnp av page
3) start xbox360 and go to the video etc. page
no fiddeling with pluggins etc. needed anymore
i'am happy !!

I am using FW dns-313_fw_1.03b04_v2 (watch serial number on device for the correct FW)
After a format, reset and on/off button on DNS finaly the xbox360 reconized the DNS and
then a used the easysearch program and made a mapstructure:
Volume_1/media/photo
Volume_1/media/music
Volume_1/media/video
Then choose PNP AVserver en choose the refresh button so it updates the media on the DNS

Confirmed it works! This seem to be the only way to do it.
I have beofre tried resetting to factory defaults, I have tried erasing the cache files.
But only the 30 seconds reset button method seem to work.
Keep in mind...
The shared UPnP AV folder cannot be a 2nd level subfolder. Example:
/Volume_1/mymedia/ is OK!
/Volume_1/shares/mymedia is not OK!

I stumbled into another problem. Even though my XBOX 360 sees the UPnP share and can browse it. I get a failed error when streaming movies. The ones I tested were XviD movies in avi container.
