Hi,
when I try to mount a CIFS share like
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.32/folder /mnt/folder/ -o user=...,password=...
I get the message "cifs filesystem not supported by the system".
The share on the server (NSA-2401) is ok and can be accessed from other clients with Linux or Windows.
Would it be possibile to enable CIFS file system by recompiling the kernel ? How ?

I'm trying to mount a cifs share to add external sources to the media server.
Just because I have a NSA-2401 but it does not have a media server installed like the NSA-220.

I don't think the build-in mediaserver can use a share which is mounted from (chrooted) ffp. If it doesn't work, you can try to add the lines (load cifs.ko and mount) to after_booting.sh and reboot. However, I don't know if the firmware mount can handle cifs.
