Get PHP extension exif.so?
I am trying to host a PHP website on my DNS-313 that reads exif information from jpg files. I understand from other sources that this requires the PHP extension "exif.so" to be loaded. In fact it works when I host the website on a PC running Ubuntu server.
Can anybody help me get this "exif.so", compiled for DNS-313?

Why don't you compile PHP on DNS? I've done this before on Lenny...
It took something like 24+ h but it did compile.
You can "select" whichever extensions you like this way.
Also if you want to run non-standard PHP extensions you'll need to compile them yourself or download arm binaries.
Head over to dev's webpage for details on compiling from sources - If you have lenny or any other linux distribution installed on your DNS you'll be able to do it same way as on the normal PC - It's no diffrent.
Also remember to install all necessary dependency packages for PHP to compile...
