Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Is somebody completely installed irssi to DNS-313?
Is it even possible?
I've installed gcc, what's required for irssi but when I try ./configure irssi, only what I get is configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables. Also glib is needed, but got only same configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables-message.
So what's problem?

http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.5/PACKAGES.html

Well, I installed packages you told, but then got following error: configure: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
Then what?

Try to install all the packages listed here. Then check the fonz fun-plug packages list for dependencies, where you will see that you need two additional packages: libiconv and ncurses. In the packages list you also see that a lot of these packages are also combined in the ffp-base package. But for the compilation to work you need to install the separate packages as the ffp-base package is lacking the headers.
Keep me posted as I want to compile nntpgrab in the future, for which I need glib.
update: The optware repository has a irssi packages. Have you tried that one.

At the moment the latest stable version of glib is 2.22. Is there a reason why you compile an older version of glib?
Could you also provide the configure options you used for the compilation.

If you want or if you need exacly the latest stable version of glib you may compiled it yourself. Why not? I need this version

I see that you have also recompiled gettext. What did you change with respect to the one in the fonz repository.
update: I see that you have compiled gettext with nls enabled (libintl.h), while for all the packages of fonz nls is disabled.
