I tried to change the password to the root account with "passwd" command, the Winscp session was suddenly terminated and now I can't log on with root password root. What can I do to fix the problem?

You can use the telnet backdoor to replace the passwd and shadow file (found in /mnt/usbstick/ffp/etc) by the originals in the package.
In newer firmware the 'admin' account is no longer available, but if you pm me your macaddress (found in the webinterface), I'll tell you your NsaRescueAngel password.
