Winblows Drivers from Realtek vs. DNS-343

So I've been having weird problems browsing to a particular website.. Go figure it only dealt with 1 website out on the internet via HTTP/S.

Well, for fun, I reset jumbo packets on my WinXP RealTek driver page and WOW! IT WORKS! I can get to this page again!

Now the reason I point this out is:

This computer had really weird throughput to my DNS-343.

When Jumbo frames were set to 9K on Windows, the throughput was about 100Mb/s

now that I set it back to normal -- it jumped up to around 300Mb/s (about what those Intel Pro 1000/MT NIC's did on some other Dells I have).

So go figure! RealTek Windows Drivers suck.

Nice.  I haven't looked into if the Jumbo frames are still being sent even though I turned them off.

I'll have to look at some point. I just wanted to share that not all windows drivers are created equal. So don't blame the DNS-343.
