UPS Output string via 'upsmon' with stock UPS tools on DNS-343

Has anyone looked at the output string from upsmon?

Mine looks like this:

(DNS-343) /usr/local/ups/etc# upslog -s usbhid@localhost -l -
Network UPS Tools upslog 2.4.1
logging status of usbhid@localhost to - (30s intervals)

I'm using an APC Smart-UPS 1400 RackMount.

I'm curious if the load strings for the rest of you guys with APC ups'  also looks so whacky.

let me know and thanks.

p.s. Fonz, I know there's an updated version of NUT in the FFP packages, I'm assuming that's meant to run as a replacement to the current nut tools. And I'm assuming it's a matter of a startup script that kills the running NUT in /usr/local/ups/ and then starting the ffp version of nut? I'd like to hear from others' experiences.

Ben - Don't Ask me how I fixed it - I have no idea what I'm doing!
