So , I managed to set up a working optware cs08q1armel cross compilation environment , this platform has been choosed as known to work with our beloved dns-320...
I would like to share the results of my hard work after some time spent to tweak and fix some svn optware issues...
"latest cvs MINIDLNA with samsung patch"
I'm enjoing it right now with full features enabled like mkv streaming ,bookmarks , chapters , thumbnails, resume and others , on my samsung c670 tv lan connected.
you need a working optware installation to use this packages , I used the Uli script to do the job , see:
http://nas-tweaks.net/219/installation- … c-ch3mnas/
New dep is ffmpegthumbnailer that I created from scratch.
I also updated ffmpeg to a last svn revision, but I changed its name as the one on optware repo seems weird..
So I raccomend you to remove your ffmpeg installation and install my ffmpeg package first , then ffmpegthumbnailer and last minidlna , ipkg will care of deps eventually missing.
Startup script for /opt/init.d for minidlna is NOT provided (but simple to create)
this packages are provided as is, they are still work in progress and I hope they don't harm your systems..
enjoy and give some feedback
cheers
ffmpeg_svn20110213
ffmpegthumbnailer_2.0.6
minidlna_cvs20110212
edit: please go here for packages
