Hello,
I have recently bought the DNS-320 and use it through an Apple iMac with various problems (AFP broken etc)
I upgraded the FW to the new 2.0 b6 (the latest i think).
The P2P app was working in the older FW but now seems broken, can't add a torrent or modify settings!
Is it a problem with the new FW or something else? Is it better to use fun_plug and maybe another torrent client?

Make sure you reset the device to defaults after the update. 2.0b06 works fine with P2P (tested here).

I think you'd do better with another torrent client.
Eg. Transmission, or if you're adventurous, rutorrent.

You were right, after resetting (and formatting the drive) everything works as it should with P2P!!!
Another problem I have is with an external USB disk drive (1 TB WD My passport), DNS-320 doesn't seem to work with it. Yet, the blue led is lit and in log it reads "mount USB storage"
If i plug-in another My passport (500 GB) or my USb stick it works fine
I was thinking that in order to transfer 500 GB from the 1 TB drive to the NAS direct USB connection would be the fastest. Or Gigabit ethernet would be preferable?
Thanks for the info and help

After upgrading the firmware I did not reset to defaults.
I just test the P2P application and it works fine !
