500gb 3.5 sata (80% full) file sys-FAT 32 --- 2 mins to mount -RW
500gb 3.5 sata empty file sys -NTFS ----- 50 secs to mount Read only
500gb 3.5 sata empty file sys exFAT won't mount
500gb 3.5 sata empty file sys -ext3 -- 45 sec -RW
2gb SD card in card reader (60% full) file sys -FAT 32 ---- 30 secs to mount - RW
16gb thumb drive (98% full) file sys FAT 32 -- 7 mins -- read only (permission denied when creating a file)
The 16 gb Thumb drive is very slow to mount but in general devices take much longer to mount on the DNS 320 than on a PC
