Re: Firmware version 2.0 (non beta) ?

I stated in another post somewhere that it was delayed 1 month but it is launching in April in NA. The firmware linked above should be final release.

Re: Firmware version 2.0 (non beta) ?

The majority of that GPL should apply to 2.0 as far as I know. The change to 2.0 was a UI change and the major components of the firmware remained the same. Yes I work at D-Link US.

Re: Firmware version 2.0 (non beta) ?

Hi Dlink,
Thanks for publishing the sources. I have found that a large portion of the build script (build_fw) in the archive has apparently been cut out (line 18 in the script):

//build_fw

Code:

tar zxvf arm-none-linux-gnueabi-6xxx.tgz

WORKDIR=$(pwd)
export WORKDIR
PATH=${WORKDIR}/arm-none-linux-gnueabi-6xxx/bin:$PATH
export PATH
CC=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc
export CC
export CROSS_COMPILE=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-
CXX=${CROSS_COMPILE}g++
export CXX
RANLIB=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-ranlib
export RANLIB
LD=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-ld
export LD
STRIP=arm-none-linux-gnueabi-strip
export STRIP

// important stuff missing here

tar zxvf ramdisk.tgz
tar zxvf merge.tgz
cd merge
sudo cp ../ramdisk/uRamdisk .
./merge

Is there any chance  you could publish the complete build script? Thanks!

Nice, nice, very good to have you and Dlinks attention here for this forum.

I always buy Dlink stuff, routers, nas , switches etc. both private and in work, the stuff works right away,
you was among the first to have a WEB ui to control your devices, no need to install special programs on the P C as other require
(or even asked for money after 3 month period for the software as some did).

/Stefan
