How to login/logout samba on Win7?

Hi,

Is there a way how to force users to fill user/password when accessing samba + logout option?

Situation:
Several users using the same computer (Win7 x64) would like to login/logout to Samba according to their accounts defined in DNS-320 Account section. So far I was able to map drive with credentials but Win7 never asks for them again + couldn't find logout option anywhere. Would like to set up easy solution for logging/logout. Something that even my wife can do ...

Computer is not on domain. I guess there should be a way if user logoff from Windows and then login as another user but I don't want to use such solution.

Anyone encountered the same problem and solved it?

Thanks for help/suggestion

/Martin

Re: How to login/logout samba on Win7?

Try using a batch file in autostart which disconnects the network share (if available) and connects it again. The connect should then be under the current user. See Microsoft Documentation for more information on how to do this. net use also works on windows 7.
