I'm a complete noob. I know i have to have the fun_plug. i think i've got that right but i don't know what to do now.

for example:

funpkg -i curl-7.18.1.tgz
funpkg -i Transmission-2.31-1.tgz

if i enter this in putty it says : FATAL error

You need to login to your device using telnet
Download the files you want to install and copy them in /ffp/packages/
and then run the instruction...

it works for me

i can't do anything to the ffp file. and i even don't have a /packages/
this is what i have.

did i do something wrong ?

packages/ is in the var/ folder
