Well, I've had (4) 250GB drives in my DNS-343 for a couple years now and so far, so good.
The linux kernel along with the FFP package make this a great embedded server for small needs.
(my needs have grown, so I'm going to install a real server, but this box is going to stay on my network as a backup host.)
