Does anyone know who the site owner is? It has been down a couple of days and whois says the domain is in renwal. The site has always been a real use to me and if I can get a copy of the site I'd be happy to host it.
Thanks.

There is no data loss. It's probably some dns issue right now. If dns323.info owner can't fix it then I will setup other domain for dns323 wiki.
You could temporarily fix this with adding following lines to your hosts file:
84.50.110.197 dns323.info
84.50.110.197 dns323.kood.org

Thanks for asking this, jon.tomsu, and thanks for the ready answer, sala. Just what I needed.

For whatever reason I get a: No webpage configured on this location message. Is there a directory I need to go to?

Same here, man I hope the page isn't gone. Someone should definitely mirror if possible...

The page is just there. When you add the domain to your hosts file, as Sala said, you can browse it.

Under http://84.50.110.197/ I do not get anything but a dummy page by xservu.com saying that there is no webpage configured there. Anybody have an idea what to do?

Edit your hosts file.
The server on that IP address is hosting multiple domains, maybe thousands. So you *have to* specify that you want to visit dns323.info, else the server doesn't know what you want.
The easiest way to do so is to add the lines to your hostfile, and happily surf to dns323.info. (The more complicated way is to run your own DNS server, and the hard way is to patch your browser)

If you go directly to http://84.50.110.197/ you won't get anythink: it is a shared server, so the same IP is used for several website.
You need to add
84.50.110.197 dns323.info
84.50.110.197 dns323.kood.org
to your hosts file, and then go to http://dns323.info or http://dns323.kood.org, as sala said.
Edit: Mijzelf was faster and his explanation is better ;-)

From behind some specific proxy setup, hosts file fix won't help, but for others it should help.
I am going to setup new domain for wiki due to I cant get in touch with dns323.info owner.

Thanks for the explanations! It is always good to realize how theory works in practice ...

Sala, could you (just in case) make a backup of the whole wiki site? If the domain owner does not solve the problem, maybe he will loose interest of having it continue.

http://dns323.kood.org should now resolve to DNS-323 Wiki.

Works. Thank you!
