has anyone accomplished this?
If I plug in an ATEN USB->Serial dongle, I see this with 'lsusb'
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0557:2008 ATEN International Co., Ltd UC-232A Serial Port [pl2303]
I don't think any comm ports are assigned (no /dev/ttyUSBx to be seen)
Just thought I'd ask.
