Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi,
I am trying to install owncloud 3 on a DNS-325 with fun_plug 0.7. So far, I have the lighttpd server running, mysql installed and php 5.3.9 up and running. When I run owncloud it outputs:
PHP module zip not installed.
Please ask your server administrator to install the module.
PHP module mb multibyte not installed.
Please ask your server administrator to install the module.
PHP module ctype is not installed.
Please ask your server administrator to install the module.
Two questions:
1. Is it possible to add these modules to the PHP package that is supplied for fun_plug 0.7 through slacker?
2. I noticed that PHP 5.3.10 is out, with a security fix. Will this be supplied for fun_plug 0.7 through slacker? Will it include the modules above?
3. If the answer to both of the above is no, how do I go about compiling PHP for fun_plug 0.7 with the modules I need?
Any help anyone can give me to get this going is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I downloaded (rsynced) the build scripts provided at http://ffp.inreto.de/ffp/0.7/src/ and figured out that you need to run "sh php.funpkg" to get the build to run.
When I run "sh php.funpkg" it complains that the FFP_ARCH variable is not set. When I set it in the script, it then complains that the /tmp directory is not writable. It seems like there are a number of things that are not set right in the script to work on the DNS-325?
Is there a concise tutorial that describes how to compile packages for/on the DNS-325 (arm) and what changes/environment one needs when using ffp 0.7 on a DNS-325?
Any help on getting this working is appreciated.
Thanks

Exactly this is what I'm looking for, too.
So far I was able so figure out that there is a tool called makepkg which expects certain parameters and converts a binary into a fun_plug package.
Just Type makepkg to see the parameters.
Perhaps this helps.

Hey guys,
Any progress so far on your side ? Owncloud 4 has been released lately...
I would appreciate to know whether running owncloud 4 would definitely be possible with ffp.
Don't want to install Alf F...
thanks !
