Re: FFP 0.7 NodeJS and other goodies

that is awesome, Memiks. It is always good to have additional repositories. Thanks!

I can see you have gcc-4.6.2 in there. Any chances to have an oarm folder as well in there for folks with older devices like me?

Re: FFP 0.7 NodeJS and other goodies

Hello, I create a script to compile all my package to oarm arch and when it will be done, I will put them in a new folder on my repo.

BUT: NodeJS cannot be compile for oarm (EABI is a requirement for V8 Javascript compiler).
and I think I will modified some sources to compile but I will try wink

Re: FFP 0.7 NodeJS and other goodies

Ok, I recompiled arm packages to oarm device.

you can find them here: http://ffp.memiks.fr/pkg/oarm/

For the moment, only these packages IS NOT compiled:
M2Crypto-0.21.1-arm-1
Python-2.7.2-arm-1
libsigc++-2.2.0-arm-1
libpar2-0.2-arm-1
gcc-solibs-4.6.2-arm-1
gcc-4.6.2-arm-1

But I am working on them.

Note: NodeJS is compiled but I think it doesnt work on oarm devices, could you please try ?

Best regards,
Fréd.

Re: FFP 0.7 NodeJS and other goodies

Many Thanks! I will give it a try. As you mentioned in another post, the OARM packages you created should work the same as OABI packages (compilation parameters are the same, just the libraries would differ on an oabi ffp setup).

Re: FFP 0.7 NodeJS and other goodies

Where can I find information on what gas changed between ffp 0.5 and 0.7?
Ie. is it worth upgrading on DNS-325?

You can find my package source here : http://ffp.memiks.fr/node_oarm.20130606.tar.bz2
To compile it, just execute node.funkpg in this package.

BUT NodeJS are not able to start on OARM (OABI) kernel, so I will delete OARM packages since NodesJS does not work.

Best regards,
Fred.
