Hi all,
I just installed Transmission within my DNS320, I've followed this guide http://dns323.kood.org/forum/t2719-%5BR … ssion.html
I've executed all steps, it seems like good, I can access to transmission through the http://local_ip:9091 and the webgui appear. When I try to add some torrent for downloading, the transmission freeze, the cpu jump to 100% and stop...!!!
I don't understand why... someone can help me?
(I saw the transmission-daemon.log, the size of this file before transmission service stopping was 100MB !!! I copy below a little part of this file, could be useful...)

I don't think that it has something to do with the other errors, but at least I know how to solve these:
echo 4194304 >/proc/sys/net/core/rmem_max echo 1048576 >/proc/sys/net/core/wmem_max

Thank you, a part of my problem is solved. Now... the crypto errors... may depend from HW release? I don't find any update for B1HW release...

Long shot. Which ssl package do you have installed?

are you sure to have a dns-320 ? this should happen only on dns-320L (notice the L) afaik.
there's a bug on how the firmware handle /dev/random and /dev/urandom, by default it sets the wrong permissions
to start Transmission demon you'll need first to do a
#chmod 664 /dev/random
#chmod 775 /dev/urandom
it will resets at every start so its probably better to add this to some script that will autostart before transmission or to transmission start script (I dont remember if it runs with the right permissions to do this)

Yes, i'm sure, the only one difference is the hw revision that, in my case, is B1 (not Ax)
Anyway i've do the instructions and the transmission now works fine. I
I don't remember but i read somewhere that the b1 hw revision for DNS320 is very similar to DNS320L hardware. ..
Thank you
