Hi guys!
In my DNS-313 powered by ffp 0.5 I have successfully installed WD20EADS 2TB hdd. I wrote about it here -> http://dns323.kood.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7435 .
Set up NFS for my wdtvlive and overall performance is OK. DNS is powering it down after 5 min in idle, as I want it to.
Now I read about eads series of wd's hdds and their 'bug' (?) in IntelliPower with linux machines which causes Load_Cycle_Count parameter to increase rapidly, about every 8th second.
So I installed smartmontools package to closely monitor smart parameters.
Here they are for a disk which is 5 days old. This param is now at 1499.

Do you think it would be wise to change this parameter with wdidle utility at for example 30sec?
The main purpose of my NAS is 80% nfs streaming, 20% backup function for the rest of the PCs...
