Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I would like to setup VPN on my NAS fun_plug 0.7.
I will buy VPN access from a hosted provider by these trusted review sites:
- http://www.techradar.com/news/best-vpn- … op-choices
- https://www.bestvpn.com/best-vpn-torrenting/
However, a lot of the VPN providers only give a tutorial on using a GUI to setup VPN - thus won't work for console/text-only NAS.
But they do support DD-WRT routers via OpenVPN. They just say: download config file & IP tables file, and paste the text into the router's admin/config webpages.
How can I use these OpenVPN config file & IP tables file for my NAS fun_plug 0.7 console/text-base only openVPN?
(I had a look at http://dns323.kood.org/howto:openvpn but it's too complicated and seems to be instructions on setting up a server VPN & client VPNs...)
Also, do I need to do any port forwarding that wasn't mentioned on the hosted VPN websites?
