Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.
You are not logged in.
Recently I have received couple of emails describing problems logging in after new registration.
Everytime I log in in the forums it shows a message
that "login is suceseful.. wait to be redirected...etc" then forum index
page opens but it shows a message at the top saying "you're not loged in"
I was able to replicate this problem with Internet Explorer 6 and 7, and I think it is cosed by wiki using same ACL's with this forum.
To go around this problem:
*If you can, try to use some other internet browser, Mozilla Firefox for example.
*If you cant use any other browser then try log in to wiki in here http://dns323.kood.org/dsmg600/doku.php … p;do=login and then got to http://dns323.kood.org/forum/ Now you should be automatically logged in this forum. To log out you need to go again in wiki page and select logout from there.
NOTE: Registering a new user account will not fix this problem!
Sorry for the inconvenience

When I had this problem I looked all over for contact info but I could not find any email addresses at all. Maybe it would be helpful to post information on how to contact an admin if you can't log in (or at least make it more prominent since I could not find it).

There's not much I can do, even if you send me an a email.
All known workarounds are posted here at first post.
e-mail address is support(email)sala.pri.ee

I cannot login to this BB using IE7 - Firefox 2 works just fine.
I can reproduce this issue on multiple computers.
When I login using IE7, it says login successful, but then when it redirects me back to the board, it looks like I havent logged in yet. (I see login option on menubar)
Seems to me that this BB doesn't like IE for whatever reason.

True, and it is my fault since I missed this thread. Maybe make this thread sticky so it is more prominent?

There is no general problem, only a random anomaly.
Fix described at first post will work under IE6 and IE7.
Additionally I did add a extra link to login form "Other login problems?", which is linked to here.

fyi,
this disn't work for me on ie8 or ff 3.
none of the password reset tools work on either site, and the support contact email address doesn't work either.
as close as i can tell, re-registration with a different email address is the ONLY solution if one loses their password.

Sorry, I can't confirm any of you are saying.
Support email is working, I did got your email. I just don't have secretary who could check site email in every few hours, sorry
I did reset my password from the forum form and from the wiki form and it did work without any problems. More info could not hurt, like: did you get password reset notification to your mailbox, did you open the link included in this email? What kind of message you did get when you did try to open it?
If you did not get the email, then do you have access to your spam filter and email server logs so you could check if message was received.

email bounce i got when sending the suport email
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
support@source.pri.ee
SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<support@source.pri.ee>:
host mail.xservu.com [84.50.110.196]: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.5.3 - chkuser)
on my end, the emails are never getting here so i think my ISP (Earthlink) has you blocked as you are not in any of my filters
let me know if you want to take this off line in PM's

Well now I see, you did send this email to number of different email addresses. One of them did work
support@source.pri.ee was out of order so I did remove this. Now no one should see this as a contact email.
I also did try to send you a email and I did get respond:
Connected to 209.86.93.228 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 550 550 Dynamic/zombied/spam IPs blocked. Write blockedbyearthlink@abuse.earthlink.net
//edit
Googeling for blockedbyearthlink@abuse.earthlink.net will get some interesting results...

what domain do i need to ask my ISP to unblock so i get forum notifications? i'm still not receiving subscription updates to messages.

sala.pri.ee / 84.50.110.197. But I think easier would be to setup a gmail account and make it to forward all email to your current active email address.

ok, i just did that.
can you send me a test message to profile email address please?

I had some trouble logging in when I registered on this forum. and occasionally when I access it again, it usually shows that I am not logged in and would ask me login details but display that I already logged in.
I think the problem lies with cookie management or something on the same zone.
