Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hello,
When trying to delete a folder on the DNS-313 from Windows Vista I am getting an error message "You do not have sufficient access rights to perform this action". Have tried to delete the same folder from an Ubunu-workstation and it works perfect.
D-Link support is telling me that they can not reproduce the problem.
Anyone that has the same problem?

Hi,
Are you trying permanent delete or normal delete? So far my experience was that permanent delete is no working in all cases (as harddisk running under supervision of NAS's Linux, is not a native NTFS Windows managed drive), but simple delete usually works. Also please check the Samba thread, maybe changing default permission can help.
Regards.

Hi,
I have the same issue with Vista. A folder must be empty before I can delete it. No problem when accessing from Windows 2000. I have to use the command rd /s /q [folder] in order to delete a full structure with subfolders and files.
By the way I also cannot use any backup software tool (memeo, synctoy,...) because some special accesses to the files are refused. I use robocopy instead but with limited features because of the same limitations.

I upgraded to the latest beta DNS-313_1.01b6, it seems to have fixed the problem.
Anyone that got the fun_plug to work on this beta??
