Hello,

The forum is very usefull but after many search, I don't find an answser.

My problem:
After install a samba on my DNS-323 with this method
http://dns323.kood.org/howto:bettersamba

I can share my files in network, it work well but if I reboot my NAS. I come back to the default configuration for sharing files. My smb.conf is overwrite and I loose my own file smb.conf.

My question:
How to keep the good configuration file after reboot?

add the nexessary command in your fun_plug to use your smb.conf every time on reboot/restart.

Another solution to this is to run your own samba server. Fonz has included one in the funplug packages. Of course this approach requires a bit more work.

Experience tells me the benefits soon outweigh the little bit of work that is involved. :-)
