Failed Drive

Had two drives in Raid 1 - both 500gb drives. The one in bay 2 failed. I had a spare 750gb drive that dropped into bay 2. Dropped it in an followed the instructions in the web admin, but now it listing drive 1 as  Raid 1 and drive 2 as JBOD... I have another 750gb drive I can put in, but I really don't want to lose all my configuration and ffp stuff since I have so much time invested in that - can anyone point me in the right direction to get the second drive setup to be a mirror of the 500gb in bay 1 or any other pointers?

Re: Failed Drive

Check your volume sizes - if Volume_2 is shown as 250GB you're good.

Previously you should have had a single volume (Volume_1) which is the "logical" drive made from the two physical drives, when you replaced the failed drive with a larger drive the DNS-323 should have used 500GB of it to mirror the first physical disk, and then use the remaining 250GB as a new JBOD volume which it will call Volume_2.
