Re: New DNS-323 Firmware V1.04B82 with release 12/28/2007

I also am having problems with the npnp.

The problem seems to be that the track number is set to zero when browsing with a controller.
This means that my N95 cannot order the tracks properly and defaults to alphabetical order even when I copy them to the phone.
If I copy them directly to the memory card of the phone all is ok.
I was hoping that 1.04 would fix this but it has not.
I think that the upnp server is there own, its a shame they did not use the open source one that is out there as that works fine.

If I mount my media drive on my linux pc and use a tag editor to examine the tags it reveals that the tracks still have the correct setting, its just that they
seem to be filtered out when a upnp renderer or controller is used to browse.

This must be a simple fix but maybe the best option for now is to get the opensource one working and use that.

Has anyone done this without resorting to installing the debian os?

Thanks Ken
