Telnet not working on 1.04 firmware

Installed the telnet hack as per instruktions.
Cant connect, putty say "connection refused"

Firmware is 1.04

What I see when I connect wit an ftp-client is

/
l--Volume_1
l--web_page

The root directory is not writable. So I put it in Volume_1.

Running raid0.
Coultd it be that the Fun_Plug needs to be alterered?

Re: Telnet not working on 1.04 firmware

Have you set PuTTY up to try and use telnet? PuTTY is usually used for ssh which uses port 21, telnet uses port 23. Try running "telnet <dns-323-ip-address>" in a command window to make sure it's working.

Yes, it used port 23, but I tried a couple of different fun-plugs and finally got one that was working.

used this one http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.4-test/
