There is an issue with the device that was discussed here a few times about the drives shutting down after the defined time and then spinning back up for an unknown reason. I was wondering if firmware 1.04 fixes this.

Well - it did for me too. FINALLY! I can't believe I had to wait that long.
However, I wouldn't say it's 100% verified yet because I still don't have the .lpd directory. with 1.03 this workaround did not help and now it does but the real test is to use printing and still have the power saving feature...
