Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

volume names

Hallo

Cnfiguration: ch3snas
2 harddisks of  500 gig

Is it possible to make a configuration in the web interface like below:

a small volume_1  JBOD  0ff  apr. 20 gig
a big    volume_2  RAID1 off apr. 480 gig

When i do a raid configuration i always end up with a large volume_1 and a small volume_2

I want to have a small volume_1 JBOD for playing with fun_plug and a big Volume_2 RAID1  for storage

Any solutions?

Re: volume names

Maybe it would be better if you moved the fun_plug off to a USB device and just had one large RAID1 as Volume_1.  See the following help:

http://dns323.kood.org/howto:external_drive
http://backupnetclone.sourceforge.net/i … on01a.html

To clarify, the fun_plug file itself still must reside on the Volume_1 along with the USB driver file, but you can move all of the "real" functionality off of Volume_1 by loading a USB driver and immediately going to the USB device to load any further add-ons.
