Hi,
I'm just setting up my dns-323 and want to use NFS for my macs. I've installed the basic fun_plug from:
http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.4-test/
I see there are two NFS varieties:
unfs3-0.9.18 (user-space NFS daemon)
nfs-utils-1.1.0 (kernel NFS daemon, needs kernel support!)
The 323 kernel does not have nfs support, correct? I would have to go with unfs3.

Fonz,
Does the kernel need to be recompiled or just the nfs module against the current kernel?

Thanks for the response. After a couple of days of wrestling with it I'm going back to SMB for now. First, I couldn't get non-root users to write to the 323 via NFS. I investigated the UID mismatch issue but couldn't get anywhere. In addition, I tested copying a large video file via nfs and smb. I was surprised to find nfs performing about half as well as smb -- granted, I didn't try tuning it.
