lighttpd 1.4.17 with PHP - ERROR: HTTP POST failed

HTTP POST failed(HTTP 413 Request Entity Too Large)

I'm gettign this error while trying to upload large image files to my Image gallery. I've found some info on this at:http://gallery.menalto.com/node/16167

Looks like a limit somewhere in the config, but I'm not sure where any ideas?

Re: lighttpd 1.4.17 with PHP - ERROR: HTTP POST failed

I will take a shot since no one else has.  I believe php has a default limit on upload size.  I don't remember what it is or where you change it, especially on the dns-323.  I do remember having a similar situation when I was setting up Gallery2 on my domain (non dns-323 host).  I thought it was in a php.ini script or something similar.  I host with hostgator and they have a good online help system.  You might want to go to their site and search around their help forum.  You then might be able to apply their suggestion to the dns-323.  Just a thought.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but maybe that will get you or someone else looking in the right direction.  If I can think of anymore information, I will post here.  Good luck.

Re: lighttpd 1.4.17 with PHP - ERROR: HTTP POST failed

I Have already altered the PHP.ini file to increase the changes, but i suspect it maybe somehow related to lighthtp config or some other config file as i'm still experiencing the smae problems after cranking those values up in php.ini

Is "server.upload-dirs" set to a valid path on disk in your lighttpd.conf? Maybe there're more relevant options, see http://trac.lighttpd.net/trac/wiki/Docs
