Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi,
I recently got my DNS323 and its very nice... Especially running debian on it.
I got debian etch working on my HDD but can't run it from flashdrive?! I mounted my flashdrive at /mnt/stick and copied the etch directory on it.
also copied the lnx_bin directory to the flashdrive.
The error looks like this:
/mnt/stick # ./lnx_bin/busybox3 chroot etch /bin/bash
chroot: cannot execute /bin/bash: No such file or directory
/mnt/stick #
Well, where is /bin/bash supposed to be when it can be run from /mnt/HD_a2 ?
My other problem:
ssh is installed on the debian system (when running from hdd) but I cant connect to ssh! Only got this error:
root@192.168.1.200's password:
Server refused to allocate pty
stdin: is not a tty
Thanks in advance.

I assume that you still have enough fun_plug left on your harddisk to actuallt mount and start debian.
Basicly all of fun_plug needs to stay on the harddisk and only debian will go on the usb stick.
Good luck

Yes, debian should go from usb stick... but how ? It won't start as you can see.
/mnt/stick # chroot etch /bin/bash
chroot: cannot execute /bin/bash: No such file or directory
Yes, etch is untared in /mnt/stick

lnx_bin should stay on the harddrive together with fun_plug
