i use MLdonkey... and will install transmission asap... but this pics from richneo are for firmware 1.5.
he clearly has access to a test build, or the 1.5 has been released. I'm not aware of that.
my question is where can we get it? i loved to test it on my second unit.

where can i find this new 1.05 firmware?

Hi Richneo,
Besides the question that has already been asked, I like to know if 1.05 firmware allows special characters in the password field. The 1.04 firmware only allows alphanumeric passwords, and violates password policies in places where I have put the DNS-323.
Regards,
Jaya

No, I'm using my program - Shadowandy and the other are using transmission-daemon with cluth gui.
I'm using my program (modified transmissioncli command line client) and my php gui to control the downloads.
here is two pic. :

Strange why D-Link does not spread it in public access...

Beta firmware in the hands of the public has a way of becoming a support nightmare.
I moderate on another manufacturer's user forum, one where anyone can volunteer to be a beta tester, and I've watched users gripe & complain over bugs in the beta (if it's a beta release, expect bugs, you volunteered to find them), over lost data (who the heck keeps the only copy of their live data on a piece of hardware and then loads beta firmware on to it - if it's a beta release, it's going to have bugs, you volunteered to find them).
It's been my experience that too many people volunteer just to get their hands on the "latest" firmware, without understanding the implications, without reading the warnings when they signup to be beta testers - I've watched the users here go crazy over what seemed to be leaked betas of 1.04 to the point where I honestly believe that if I had the skills to develop the requisite firmware, I could turn many of the DNS-323's owned by forum members into an army of bots - there are people here who will download firmware from any source they can get it with no regard for authenticity and no concern for the implications of using an unknown firmware.
In this age of identity theft, do you really want a device sitting on your network, storing your data and controlled by whoever, wherever?
In my opinion, beta testing needs to be done in a controlled environment and by invitation - although - if I were D-Link, there are certain members here I would invite to be on a beta test team, not only would you get the bugs found, you'd get the fixes as well.

Where did you attended a trade show in overseas? In Honolulu Hawaii?
How do you get a screenshot image on a trade show? Was it a D-Link trade show booth?
