Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Setting IP in NAT'ed environment firmware 1.04 [SOLVED]

I think I have solved the problem with FTP on formware 1.04. Turns out that pure-ftpd is noe the server being used. I have updated the wiki with my solution (a workaround), and would appreciate it if someone else would try it and confirm that it works.

It's here: http://dns323.kood.org/howto:open_ports_ftpd?s=nat

Re: Setting IP in NAT'ed environment firmware 1.04 [SOLVED]

Hi,

I followed your guide which is working fine.
I use the script:
/usr/bin/pure-ftpd -c 3 -I 2 -P 84.xx.xxx.xxx -p 65501:65510 -S 21&
which I telnet in and this is working fine..

I thought that I should just be able to paste the same thing into the fun_plug file (with a linux editor).
I pasted it at the bottom of the pun_plug file and reboot, and no fiddling with the GUI (it says "FTP service stopped" all the time)..

But as I said it only works if I start it with Telnet, but it would be nice to get it automatically..

What am I doing wrong?
