I am not 100% certain about this but something caused my ANSI colors in my telnet session to stop working and I think it started after I installed the optware coreutils . Does anyone have a theory for me on this?

I have not installed this, but I had the same issue. Lt me try and remember how I fixed it. If I remember, it was a matter of redirecting the busybox link, as it was changed when I installed something else with a different busybox.

Thanks, on my machine this is what I have:
root@DJANGOFAN:~# ls -al /ffp/bin/bu*

Do the colors come back after 'ipkg remove coreutils'?

yes, they do. as soon as i uninstall it, i instantly see all the ansi colors.
any more ideas?
