Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.
You are not logged in.
Hi,
I have a strange problem (on official fw 1.04) with my ftp sessions. Whenever I log into ftp and try to delete my fun_plug i get the following error: "Could not delete fun_plug: Read-only file system". This has not always been the situation.
How do I fix this?
I want to install fun plug 0.5 as I need perl for an application.
FYG: Users, Net mappings, etc work fine.
Best regards,
Ankere

Why don't you just telnet in and delete it? The other thing you could try doing is change the permissions on the file via ftp.

Ankere,
What is the full path of the fun_plug file? Do you have telnet access to this DNS-323?

Hi,
Sorry - I have funplug 0.5 installed and this behavior must have begun after this install.
In Fun_plug 0.4 my telnet did not work (and I did not deactivate it on purpose). No SSH has been installed either.
I could ftp to my 323 and succesfully installed ffp 0.5 (by ftp transfer), but telnet still doesn't work. On top of this the drive seems read-only all of a sudden.
I can access my file shares, but can only read...
Pls help me to gain telnet access again.

ankere, can you post the contents of your fun_plug log file.

Hi,
Here is what is in the log (last post only), which seems like the installation it self. I have not modified anything and I have booted the NAS, so shouldn't I be able to see anything after this entry?
BTW I can see a group 'utmp' that I can see referenced in the FFP log - what is this for and why is it there?
