Hello,
I thought I start a thread to focus on issues arising in firware release 1.05. Here is one for starters.
When I logon using minimal TELNET and invoke reboot, I get dubious errors:
/ # do_reboot / # Device /mnt/HD_a4 not found touch: /mnt/HD_a4/hard_disk_wake: No such file or directory rm: cannot remove `/mnt/HD_a4/hard_disk_wake': No such file or directory touch: /mnt/HD_b4/hard_disk_wake: No such file or directory rm: cannot remove `/mnt/HD_b4/hard_disk_wake': No such file or directory $Shutting down SMB services: $Shutting down NMB services: Refresh Shared Name Table version v1.04 mdadm: stopped /dev/md0 mdadm: stopped /dev/md1
It looks like the scripts assume partition #4 exists, but this exists only if the disks have been partitioned with firmware 1.04 or later.
What about those (like me) who have retained their 1.03 partitioning?

Well - since D-Link advised a reformat after upgrading to 1.04 - I'd guess that you're using the device in an "unsupported" mode.

I am quite sure nothing at all happened when I upgraded that suggested I should reformat the disks.
Anyone knows where I can find the release notes for 1.04 which makes reference to reformatting?
