official D-Link reply on how to recover from RAID 1 drive failure

The documentation for the DNS-323 never explicitly states the steps a user needs to follow when a drive fails in their RAID 1 array. I wrote D-Link and here is the reply I got... (I have tested this procedure as documented in this thread)

1 Turn off the DNS-323

2 Remove the Bad drive

3 Insert a working Hard drive

4 Turn on the DNS-323

The device will boot an sync to the new drive
