About to purchase, few questions

I'm planning to purchase this unit after seeing that it looks pretty flexible and meets my needs.  For people who have set it up as an NFS server, any issues to be aware of?  Also, is there a way to hook this up to a usb wireless adapter instead of through a hardwired connection?  Thanks

It is theoretically possible to connect a USB wireless adapter, however I haven't heard of it being done before - it will most likely require the porting/recompiling of drivers for the adapter of your choice.

More important - given the limited bandwidth of wireless, and the potential for interference & unreliability - do you really want to connect network storage devices via wireless?

Re: About to purchase, few questions

If you really want it wireless, get a D-Link pocket router DWL-G730AP.  It's small, and plugs into the ethernet port on the DNS.  It has 3 modes, Acess Point, Router, and Client.  Client mode is what you would want.  The DNS will not even know it is wireless, since it really isn't; it will be wired to the client.  For a higher power unit, I would recommend a D-Link DWL-G820.  It is a dedicated client (designed for PS, and Nintendo 64, etc.).  I've got one running a networked embroidery machine at my dad's business and it has never missed a beat.

Keep in mind what fordem said, it has VERY limited bandwidth and is going to be slow, slow, slow.
