New version compiled!
Features in this precompiled binary:
- eDonkey + KAD
- BitTorrent
- FileTP (http and ftp downloads)
Configured with this option:
./configure --disable-multinet --enable-donkey --enable-donkeysui --enable-bittorrent --enable-filetp --enable-directconnect --enable-batch --disable-gui
Enjoy!
NOTE: DirectConnect isn't usable with this binary. If you would use DC, you must use my old binary or compile a new binary.

Is it possible to add the gnutella network?

I'm afraid but I haven't enought time for recompile mldonkey. You can do it yourself, it's very easy.
If you wouldn't recompile mldonkey, you can use my old binary with gnutella compiled in.

have you followed the instruction written in the wiki page about mldonkey?
Offline
I have followed the the instruction written in wiki page, and i know mldonkey is running ps in telnet
But i can not go install sancho properly after i already installed it inproperly once. Keep on getting "SSH Initialization failed, try again?
com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail"
Also when i try to connect to http://localhost:4080 i type in admin and the password and even an other user it doesn't do anything.
Is it because my ch3wnas is behind a router?

Why there are a ssh error? According with my toutorial you shuldn't set any ssh connection in sancho.

No if your pc and your ch3wnas are in the same LAN and if you have set the allowed IPs.

I tried MLdonkey but I don't like it so far:
-If torrents work(50% don't even work), I only get 50 kb/s(om my main pc I get 3 mb/s from the same tracker)
-Mldonkey(after a few hours) somehow messes up my clients/password file. I cant log into telnet, users in the webinterface have disappeared, can't change the admin passw, etc.
Is it just my config or bugs in mldonkey?

For me MLDonkey works very well. I get speed over 400kB/s (with torrent or edonkey). I tried to use it for about two week and it have worked without any problem. Setting BitTorrent/4.20.9 as user agent all torrent work.

It's so strange.
Try to remove the mldonkey folder after kill every it processes and retry the installation.

My MLDonkey works fine, until I killed it (either with sancho or via telnet). When I try to restart it, it appears start OK, only I can't get any connections with it (local telnet, sancho, etc) anymore. The only option for me so far is deleting the entire .mldonkey folder and re-initialize MLDonkey. Any suggestions? What is the proper way to restart MLDonkey? (I have added some calendar rules, that's why I want to reset...)

thanks 4 the help. finally got it working. Was wondering. In the beginning speeds were terrible 5-10kb. Now with a lot of high seeded files (lost etc) in it max at 449 kb/s. (180 kb/s average) I have a 20mb line and with utorrent on my computer with these file i would hit over 1000 kb/s easy.
Does the ch3wnas limit it?

probably yes. These device have few ram and a slow processor so I think that we can do anything to improve the speed. Only a lighter program can help.

I experienced this problem, you should change the temp directory (not the temp folder of dowloading files but the core's temp folder). It must be located in your hard-disk and not in the root file system. I found a solution but it's incovenient because you should start mldonkey in gentoo chroot.
This problem is solved in mldonkey 2.9.5, I'll compile it soon. Stay tuned
Sorry for the problem.
