I install a lot of things and I guess I screwed my DNS323. Now I my print server doesn't want to work, also my original FTP can't be accessed. I
m wondering is there a way to restore the firmware as it was originally to start installing thing from scratch. I thought to reflash 1.05 but I'm afraid of losing my hard drive data.

p.s. sharing works and telnet work fine.

Flashing the firmware should not cause a loss of data.

If you mean installing by adding fun_plug? Then try to move/remove then fun_plug file and reboot your DNS-323.
