Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi,
I recently purchased a new 750GB HDD for my DNS-323 unit. Now I want to install it. The unit is presently fitted with a 400GB and a 500GB HDD, both full of data (I don't have any back-ups, I use this to stream media to my Popcorn, so loosing one or other is not a hughe loss, but still more work to reproduce all the content, than managing to copy everything).
The 400GB is on HD_a2 and has funplug on it and all my installed applications (mldonkey, llink, lighthttp, etc.), I would like to have an installation, where the 750gb is on HD_a2 and the 500gb stays on HD_b2.
What do you suggest, how could I reach this situation the easiest way, not damaging the data on my disks? I also have an external USB enclosure, if this could be needed (my idea was to install the 750gb into HD_a2, install funplug on it and than mount the old 400gb disk on the USB port and copy everything I need).
I have firmware 1.02 and funplug 0.3 installed (as these are working perfectly I don't really intend to upgrade things especially if this means formating my drives).
Thanks in advance

This approach *should* work fine. One suggestion is to remove the 500Gb drive from the DNS-323
when you install the 750Gb drive, this will help to eliminate the possibility of FWv1.02 formatting the
wrong drive (I'm assuming you are setup with two single drives mode, not any RAID).
And you know, without a backup, anything could go wrong and you would have to recreate your data.
