Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Setting an environment variable on login

Hi,

I have a very simple and newbie question.

I am running ffp and have just installed transmission.

I want to set an environment variable automatically when I start my telnet session so that I am able to use tranmission-remote. Anyone know how to do this automatically?

The variable I need to set is :

export TRANSMISSION_HOME=/mnt/HD_a2/.transmission

How do I this?

Thanks

Robert

Re: Setting an environment variable on login

it wouldn't hurt to search for a bit but here it goes wink

i guess you're using ffp0.5? if so, add the "export..." line to /ffp/etc/profile and fun_plug
