Hello. Is there a compiled ARM version of xfsprogs that I can use with the DNS323? I searched, but couldn't find anything. I tried to cross compile, but I have not been successful. I think with the cross compile, I'm not doing it right. It would run perfectly fine on my desktop, but not on DNS323.
If there isn't a compiled version, can somebody guide me in cross compiling?

xfsporgs?!?
Did you formated your disks with xfs?

Yes, I did format with xfs, but that was on a desktop. My reasoning for wanting the arm port of xfsprogs is if I were to get another drive, I would do all that on the DNS323 and not to put it on my desktop, partition it, and format it, then put it into the DNS323.

And if you were wondering, I do have the kernel module to read and write to the drive. I followed the instructions on how to cross compile. Modified the build_linux script to build modules. When it came to build linux-2.6.12.6, I selected module for xfs.

I am trying to cross compile xfsprogs again. I am following the how to add a package to optware from NSLU2 (http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Optware … eToOptware). I am currently stuck during the make. It gives me an error about missing aio.h. Would anybody have experience with this?

Thanks fonz, but still doesn't make successfully. For the CPPFLAG, I included the header source, and I also added a --with-headers part to the .configure section in the make. It still says aio.h is not found. I'm not on my dev machine right now, so I can't paste the actual make file.
