Today I found out about ARMedslack [ http://www.armedslack.org/ ] as an alternative to Debian/ARM:
"ARMedslack is an unofficial port of the Slackware® Linux distribution to the ARM architecture."
It seems to work well on the DNS-323 (chroot'ed). If you have a Slackware Linux running and
NFS on the DNS, installation can be done using the standard package tools:
- "installpkg -root /mounted/armedslack-root XYZ.tgz..." for the a/ series
- then telnet, chroot, and install more packages
If you don't have a running Slackware system, I can provide tarballs of my installation.
