On both macs I use to connect to the DNS323 by going to the Finder>Network>DNS323 click "connect" and it asks which volume I select Volume_1 and I'm connected
Little mac:
Connected wirelessly through router
Can see and connect to the DNS323 normally. It asks for a password and I enter it. Everything works fine.
Big mac:
Connected via cable through router
Cannot see or connect DNS323 anymore. It doesn't show up in the finder and when I use Go>Connect to Server it gets the error "Could not connect to server because the name or password is not correct", but it never asks for a password.
I have previously been able to connect on both. The only difference, from when I could connect and now, is that I'm now using a replacement hard drive (that was a backup clone of the original hard drive)
I need to connect with the Big mac, what am I doing wrong

Ok I have more information. I can see the DNS323 if I connect wireless with the big mac but it doesn't show up using an ethernet cable.
It seems I may be having a network problem. I can ping my router from the little mac(wireless) but the big mac give a readout saying "communication prohibited by filter". What filter. I didn't turn on a filter. So I'm a little lost on this.
Anyone have any ideas?
PS I can also ping the router using a cable with the little mac???
