Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.
You are not logged in.
I installed gettext from KyleK's link and that seemed to remove the error from transmission-daemon.log regarding libintl.so.8. However, when I try to start transmission I still get a "Could not find Transmission socket" error. When I re-check /mnt/HD_a2/transmission, the transmission-daemon.log it is now 0 bytes and there is nothing else in the folder. Anyone else come across this error?

Yeah, that's the same as I got.

Does the blocklist update with the 1.22 build of Transmission? the initial steps have you drop it on the box. I assume to get it up and running. However, I'd like to keep it up-to-date.
Thanks in advance

The Transmission daemon has no update functionality for the blocklist. You'll have to take care of that by yourself.

Do you know if I update the local file when Transmission pulls it in? Should I execute a "restart"?
Thanks

Yes, Transmission reads all files in the "blocklists" directory at startup. If they're identified as valid blocklists, they're loaded into memory.
If you update the file, you have to restart Transmission.

Hi!
Where can I find Transmission 1.31 for fun_plug-0.5
keep up the good work!

it looks like Transmission 1.3 changed a lot on how configuration works. Even after I launched transmission-daemon, the processes are running, but no socket file, no folders been created. Command line parameters changed a lot also, you can specify the download dir. transmission-remote cannot kill tranmission-daemon anymore. Too many changes to make previous build easily translate to new version.

leppen: The above download of Transmission 1.3 is identical to the official 1.31.
noodle: Exactly. That's why I'll make a comprehensive post here about the changes and what we NAS users need to do in order to get 1.3 to work. I'll probably start a new thread for this, either on Saturday or Sunday.

FYI, transmission 1.32 ipk is also in optware/dns323 feed. See http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/nslu … sage/22115
