Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I've spent the last four hours trying to figure out why I can't connect to my DNS with Putty. A little history is in order;
This issue started as a result of an upgrade from the openssh client that came with ffp 0.5 (openssh-5.0_something.tgz) to the one currently posted on fonz's site (openssh-5.1p1-1.tgz). The upgrade was completed using funpkg -u command. Also upgraded at the same time as openssh were the busybox and rsync modules. The later of which are working without a problem.
Upon upgrade and restart the ffp.log should sshd was active however when an attempt was made to connect using Putty SSH a "Connection Refused" message was received. In my attempt to resolve this problem I've searched through this forum and tried every suggestion I could find. I even went as far as un-installing then reinstalling the module several times. As a last resort I thought I'd force a regeneration of the keys by deleted those found in the /ffp/etc/ssh directory. Hind site tells me this was a big mistake! Unfortunately deleting the keys has made matters worse as now the following errors occur when attempting to start sshd
root@DNS323_NAS:/mnt/USB/ffp/start# sh sshd.sh start
/ffp/bin/ssh-keygen: can't resolve symbol 'arc4random_stir'
/ffp/bin/ssh-keygen: can't resolve symbol 'arc4random_stir'
/ffp/bin/ssh-keygen: can't resolve symbol 'arc4random_stir'
Starting /ffp/sbin/sshd
Could not load host key: /ffp/etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key
Could not load host key: /ffp/etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key
Disabling protocol version 2. Could not load host key
sshd: no hostkeys available -- exiting.
Before I completely bugger my fun_plug install I thought I'd turn to you for assistance. Any help you can give on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Figures! A few minutes after making this emotional plea for help I came across a thread that helped me solved the problem. After following the instruction at http://dns323.kood.org/forum/t2672-fonz … help!.html I'm now able to connect using Putty SSH.

Sorry for that. I'm trying to write down such requirements in the ChangeLog ( http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.5/ChangeLog.txt ). But it seems, the uclibc requirement slipped to the openssl part.

fonz;
Having worked on a number of software application projects I know how easy it is to omit from documentation the one item that's key to successful implementation. An apology isn't necessary. The mere fact that the DNS sitting here beside me works as well as it does is reflective of the exceptional effort that you and other members of this forum put forth. Without your contributions I wouldn't be learning about Linux and its internal workings nor would I be hosting my own web site, performing unattended PC backup's, managing Samba shares and just down-right having fun!
With Appreciation
